Hi! I’m Natali, a France based adventure travel blogger!

I started She’s Abroad Again in 2022, as I found a lack of a solo female backpacker perspective online. 

Today, She’s Abroad Again is an award-winning female travel blog, with loyal readers using it to plan their backpacking trips worldwide!

I’ve been traveling solo on a budget for more than 10 years!

Since 2014, I visited nearly every country in Europe, Southeast Asia, and Morocco.

I met many other girls traveling solo during my travels, but when I’d search for info online, it seemed like I could only find male perspective. 

And there are many things I wanted to know as a girl embarking on her first solo backpacking trip!

Sure, there are many fantastic solo female travel blogs, but they focused more on luxury travel, while I was on a strict budget. 

That’s where She’s Abroad Again comes in, to help women embarking on their solo travels, wanting to have fun, and discovering incredible destinations while on a budget!

Meet Natali!

I was born and raised in Croatia, moving between Dubrovnik, Pula, and Zagreb. I always loved travel, but I was told I needed to go to Uni to get a good job, so I studied law at the University of Zagreb.

Short trips across Europe—Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Serbia—kept my wanderlust alive, but long-term travel felt out of reach. That changed when I studied abroad in Belgium, spending six months traveling across Europe and meeting people from all over the world.

After earning my Master’s in Law, I backpacked Eastern Europe and Morocco before starting my first legal job—only to realize office life wasn’t for me.

I saved every penny, quit at 27, and took off to backpack Southeast Asia, starting in Thailand and traveling through Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia.

I moved to France for work in 2020, and lived in Strasbourg, Paris, and Bordeaux. When my contract ended, I decided to start She’s Abroad Again to do something fun between applying for jobs.

Fast forward a few years, I’m a full-time travel blogger, helping thousands of people plan their adventures every month!
